EHRNROOTH FOUNDATIONS
The Ehrnrooth Foundations consist of four independent non-profit foundations founded by members of the family throughout the twentieth century. Combined the Ehrnrooth Foundations support science, research, culture, and societal projects with seven million euros annually and have a combined net value of close to 400 million euros. Together, these foundations facilitate the development of high-quality research in Finland and make possible a plethora of innovative cultural and societal initiatives.

The Ella & Georg Ehrnrooth Foundation
Founded in 1935, supports research particularly in the humanities, social sciences, and bio sciences.
The Magnus Ehrnrooth Foundation
Founded in 1963, supports research in natural sciences, including astronomy and medical chemistry.
The Louise & Göran Ehrnrooth Foundation
Founded in 1991, supports education, culture, societal projects, and environmental protection.
The Mary & Georg C. Ehrnrooth Foundation
Founded in 1987, supports clinical research in ophthalmological and gastroenterological diseases.
